as … as~で、「～と同じくらい…だ」という意味になります。
例）She is as tall as her sister. 「彼女は姉と同じくらい背が高い」
✔否定文で使う際は、最初のasをsoに変えて、so … as ~の形で使うことが多いです。
例）She is not as tall as her sister. で「彼女は姉ほど背が高くない」
✔「同じくらいの○○」のように名詞を入れる際も…の中に入れます。
例) I have as many books as you. 「私はあなたと同じくらいの本を持っている」
✔ Nothing [No other 名詞] is as … as ~とすることで、「～と同じくらいのものはない」つまり「～が一番だ」という意味になります。
例）No other mountain in Japan is as high as Mt Fuji.「富士山と同じくらい高い山は日本にない = 富士山は日本で一番高い山だ」
